As Palmer can attest, there are two bodies of water that can come into play, DeSoto Springs Pond and Ikes Pond -- named after former president and club member Dwight Eisenhower. No one has ever won the Par 3 Contest and gone on to win the Masters, which doesnt bode well for Ted Potter Jr. He beat Phil Mickelson and Matt Kuchar in a three-way, two-hole playoff after they tied at 4-under 23.
